Spotted Pig brunch wait time

Any idea how long we would have to wait on a Sunday with a party of 5? Want to take visitors, but not if it's going to be > 1 hour to get in. Thanks in advance.

  1. It can get longish, but if you arrive around opening or shortly thereafter you should be fine. It gets really busy around 1 so I would try to go before then. Going for brunch is totally the way to do The Spotted Pig. I highly recommend the bloody marys, the burger is of course notorious, but there is also a regularly rotating poached egg and hash dish (I've seen tongue hash, corned beef hash etc) that never disappoints. The sweet breakfast items are top notch too- the dutch baby, the french toast. Yummy.

          We were a party of 4 gals on a Sunday, we arrived about half an hour after opening and it was already a 40 minute wait but if we ate at the bar, we could eat right away. Managed to nab a corner of the bar so we could still chat and eat, not ideal of course.

          The burger is awesome, totally recommend it, one of the best I've eaten in a long time, perfectly cooked and the blue cheese with it is great. Does not need any other garnish (and luckily doesn't come with anything). We did find that all of us didn't like the Cubano as it was too salty with the prosciutto in it and found the meat a little dry. Perhaps you'll have a better day. Good luck, it's totally worth it!

            I like the burger with the spicy french mustard they have. Mustard is great on the shoe-string fries too.

            Other good options for a big party is to share a pot of pickles- sometimes the food can be leisurely in its arrival, so munching on the house-cured pickles is a good option. I also like the almonds a lot.

              Oh geez, I almost forgot about those amazing match stick fries that they fry with rosemary...sooooooo good.
