Family reunion help!
I was wondering if you could suggest a place where I could hold my family reunion... This is quite last minute: next saturday early evening.
We will be around 40 people. Including new borns, and toddlers.
We want to spend around $30-35 (ex tip/alcohol/tx)
Somewhere that would accommodate different taste...
I'm looking for a place where we could rent a private room, or close off a section of a restaurant -perhaps somewhere that will let me work to arrange a prix fixe.
Any suggestions?
I was looking at terroni on adelaide, but this may be last minute....provences delices also.... anywhere else?
Location is not so much of an issue, but it needs to be parking friendly.
Thanks!

ACutually we have decided to go for Korean BBQ to accommodate all generations....Do any of you have any suggestions as to where to go in Koreatown that can accommodate us and have the bbq?
Thanks!

re: injek
That would be the entirety of most of the Korean BBQ restaurants I've been to, other than the crappy Yonge St. ones. You might try Miga at Bathurst & Bloor -- it's last minute for such a large group, but they do have a side of the restaurant that's only half-height walls, but somewhat separate from the rest of the restaurant that might work.

Le Select has set menus, but they might be a little higher that your price range. Their pre-fixe is within range, but choices are limited.

This might be out of the way but we have used Solstice Restaurant in Missisauga (Lakeshore and Clarkson Rd) for recent grandfather's bday and a baptism.
We use their private room which I think holds up to 60 ppl.
Menu always FANTASTIC. We pay about $35-40 depending on event and usually they allow for three entree choices and two dessert choices.
They are located in a strip mall so plenty of parking.Owners are three brothers who are very involved in making it a good experience. We love going there whenever we can.

For excellent cooking for a range of tastes at a reasonable price ( $23- 28 for a full prix fixe dinner) you can't do better than Bistro Camino. Chef/owner is former head chef at Osgoode Hall, chef at the York Club and Chateau Montebello. For the childfren ask for something from the lunch menu or a burger plate.
Lots of parking at Canadian Tire across the street.

Globe Bistro at Danforth and Broadview has a private room on the second floor that would accommodate your crowd and a variety of tastes. Parking is available at the Green P parking lot behind as well as on the street. Plus it's around the corner from the subway station.

We have done several family style dinners at Grano's but tend to find parking a challenge. Otherwise, food and atmosphere are great. I doubt though if at this last minute they can accomodate you. Worth a try.
We also had great family experience in the upstairs private dining room at Vittorio's on Avenue. They can plan a menu within your budget and they have a terrific outdoor terrace.

How about Grano. Same idea as Terroni, but uptown. They've got a very charming private room, and I believe their heated patio is also available. Charming, delicious, family friendly - plus they offer a group menu.
