Has anyone been to Blue Moon pub at Queen and Broadview?

c.cow May 12, 2010 09:15 AM

Hi all,

Am going to a comedy show tonight at the Blue Moon pub around dinner hour. Has anyone tried eating here and lived to tell the tale? If given the choice between a quick bite at home, a quick bite in the area (recs, please and thanks if this is the case!!), or dinner at the Blue Moon, what would you choose?

Thanks in advance!

Tons of places close by to eat - Table 17 and Pic Nic if you want nicer, District for sushi, Prohibition for pub food. If you're go a hint further east, you have Barrio for nicer bar food, the Roy for another pub option, and Lil Baci for good pizza.

Agreed. Lots of better places to eat in the area, just don't bother with the Blue Moon. It's standard greasy--as in, never change the oil greasy--pub food. Either eat at home or choose somewhere else close by!

      Quick bite the criteria?

Burger Shoppe, Wile E Coyote (Tex Mex), Rose Cafe (Vietnamese subs) on Broadview.

Ew, I got a straight-up RAW burger at Burger Shoppe. I anti-recommend it. I far prefer Dangerous Dan's, burger-wise. Atmosphere wise, Lil Baci is nicer, and the pizza is yummy.

Wow, really? I'm suprised to hear that your burger was raw there, given how small their patties are. ;)

Mine are always well-done even when I ask for medium.

Thanks for all the suggestions so far, everyone! This comedy thing is actually a weekly event, so it looks like there will be ample opportunity to try them all!
