Adams Avenue Farmers' Market - New Location

The farmers' market on Adams Avenue, which had been slated to open last fall, is finally here today. I saw on their Facebook page the location is changed. It's going to be in the parking lot of Rite Aid at 3650 Adams. It's run by the same people who do the Little Italy market on Saturday, so I have high hopes. Just thought I'd spread the news to those who like farmers' markets.

Well, they moved again. Now at the Adams Elementary School lot on 35th Street just south of Adams. I wish they would find a permanent location, as the product available has been great so far. Peaches, apricots, cherries, oysters, and sausage from Da Le Ranch for me last week. They're going to have a tough time surviving if they keep moving, though.

They're not moving by choice. I think they're at the elementary school for the next few weeks.

I like the location. Rite Aide was good, but a little crowded, if they could space out boothes at Rite-Aide, it would be a lot better, or close off that section of Cherokee Ave behind the entrances to the stores, upto East Mtn View.

Sorry about the bad link, thanks for posting the correct one, normalheightsfoodie. And yes, it is today and every Wednesday from 3 to 7. My understanding is that the Rite Aid parking lot location is temporary, and they will move to the previously announced location at 40th and Adams next week.
