For all of you Shallots fans, the word is that they will be opening soon at their new location in Village Crossing Shopping center across from Skokie Yeshiva.

That is good news - do you know where in the shopping center?

I'm told that it is on the Carpenter Road side south of HTC at the previous Macaroni Grill restaurant.

I am just hoping they generate enough business to fill up that large a space -

Given the status of that space I'm guessing they got a good deal on the lease.

I was told that they are planning some new things including a "lower level" menu to attract the boys and families from HTC. Whatever they do, I wish them luck.

I think they also have in mind being able to use the larger space for more private parties, like Bar Mitzvahs or reunions, etc.

        Yei, finally! Is this official?
I passed by their old location and it has already been renamed "Skokie Club".
Village Crossing would be awesome, then you could do movie and dinner without too much commuting.

Hurray it is open!! My friends ate there last night and loved it. Said the new place has lots of parking, is beautiful inside but best of all the food is terrific.
