Pican - what to order?

I'm heading to Pican on Saturday, and I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations for what to order. Would you absolutely recommend the fried chicken or is there another dish that stands out? Thanks!

The fried chicken is great -- the best I've had in the Bay Area -- but my favorite dish is the Berkshire pork chop, which comes with pork belly, hoppin' john, and chow chow. Just amazing.

The Southern style "foie gras" is a nice appetizer.

We went a while back and the big favorites were the macaroni and cheese and the cornbread with honey butter.

I also enjoyed the fried chicken. My only issue was that I couldn't have two pieces of dark meat. Boo to white meat!

But actually I really liked the macaroni and cheese even more!

I am curious about you experience at Pican....Was the fried chicken everything you hoped it would be? My experience was lackluster, I found the chicken breading greasy, the chicken itself dry and overcooked and not that much flavor that made the chicken distinct or even slightly memorable.
