Lunch near Waldorf

Looking for recommendations for a casual, not too exepensive ($10-$15 per person) lunch near the Waldorf. Would prefer middle eastern/falafel, but open to anything as long as it is good. Suggestions?

Thank you in advance.

Does your $10 to $15 include tax (20%) and tip (9%)?

No...just the price of an entree.

So on top of this you will have beverages, apps, dessert, tax, tip....

I like Taksim, a Turkish place on 2nd Ave near 54th.

That is correct. I should have been more clear - my apologies.

Nirvana is close on Lexington - great Indian food.

Amazingly enough, the place across the street from Waldorf inside the St. Barts church serves the most amazing falafel sandwich...they are open for lunch. On a warm day you should sit outside on their terrrace...

It's a great place to discuss mortgages...
