Pastry help needed
hello,
i am looking for a specific patisserie that i ate when i was younger. i am 35 so not that long but i've only ever seen it in the east part of Montreal.
I don't know the name of it, but here is a description:
almond tartelette base with the jam in the middle, over it a super fluffy white butter cream in some animal shape, usually frog, pig, mouse. the whole thing draped in a royal icing that hardens into a shell, decorated with piped icing for eyes and details.
Is there any place i can find this again? i have been away in the US for a long time and miss it terribly, want some as soon as the plane touches down.
If you know the name of it as well, that would be helpful.
Merci beaucoup.

I saw these almond animal tarts in patisserie/cafe this evening, the one located in pepsi forum (atwater metro stop) next to liquor store (SAQ), they had frogs, pigs and ducks. I dont think I have ever tried one and its been awhile since i noticed them in pastry shops. This pastry store is open very late and easy to get to.
