i only just ventured into this place recently after hearing it recommended to me many times over the years (i'm a bonehead) and i've been really happy with everything i've gotten. the fresh chorizo sausage i used in paella was delicious, the chicken i've gotten has been tasty & fresh, and the slab bacon i bought today is a steal at 2.29/lb! all the prices are excellent, they carry everything hoof to tail (although i haven't tackled any offal yet) they also carry goat and have some frozen fish. i strongly urge prov foodies to give them a try, and please let me know what you think!

I walked in and walked out of here. The place is filthy and run by people that obviously do not care a lick about the property.

Where is this and where does their supply come from (mass produced? local?)?

not sure but i doubt it's farm to table at those prices. in a perfect world...

I'll try it out. I've been to Armando & Sons in Pawtucket, which is huge and has a similar selection from what I saw. Have you heard of it?

yes, i have been by it many times but have never been in. i used to frequent michael's meats in pawt & cumberland when i lived north of the city.

We typically got to Armando's for beef and chicken. Good prices and quality! A friend complained about the lamb her husband bought there, but for what we want, it works.
