In Search of a Good Deli In SLC

My son recently moved to SLC from Oakland, CA for work. The food scene in SLC is quite a bit different from the Bay Area. I addition to his taco truck withdrawal, he is really missing a good deli sandwich joint. Does anyone have any suggestions for a kid on a budget?

BTW, I took him to the Red Iguana when I visited and it was really good! I got the recommendation from this board.

I also agree...Caputo's makes the best deli sandwiches in SLC.

I would agree, Caputo's is the best. There is also Granatos 1391 South 300 West. There are a few good taco carts in the Sugarhouse area 1100 East and 2100 South. Plus a new Asian Cart called Chow Truck.

Thanks to you both. Apparently he tried to go to Caputos on Sunday but they were closed. I have forwarded him all this so far.
He's feeling a bit homesick, so hopefully this will help.
