    Not a true brownie square, but Harbord Bakery sells the most amazing chocolate walnut brownie cookies: they're thick and soft and really chocolatey and not overly sweet, and I think there's probably a bit of espresso in there, too.

      Those cookies are ridiculous. Just incredible. A hybrid of sorts between brownie and cookie.

      For brownies I love Pusateri's 'Ultimate' brownie, I believe it is called. They are fantastic.

      There used to be a place on Ave. Rd, just south of Wilson, called Bakersman. They had the MOST amazing brownies! Then the baker who owned it sold the place and it went totally downhill before turning into Hershey's (which is even worse)! Does anyone know what happened to that guy?
