Hi All -- heading to Bon Jovi concert at the new stadium on May 29. Does anyone know what the food situation is at the stadium? Are there any sit down restaurants or interesting vendors in there? Thanks!

I am going tomorrow night to Bon Jovi and wondered whether you can let me know what you found at stadium or nearby for sitdown dinner?

The Grasshopper in Carlstadt, NJ would be a good sitdown dinner restaurant and close to the stadium. Good food.

Redds is the closest place to the Stadium and they have good casual food and seating. go straight on 120 and its just to your right after you pass the izod.... enjoy the show!

For the concert in May, most of the food concessions were actually not open. there were some with standard stadium food. also, on the club level, they did have the club restaurants open but they were checking to see if you had club level tickets.

we ended up tailgating and had a good time with that. good luck!

I haven't been there yet but this article may give you a little insight into what you might get while you're there.... http://www.northjersey.com/food_dinin...

I went for a tour there a couple of weeks ago and from what I remember there are no sit down restaurants (there's a cafeteria-esque type section for club seat holders but not sure if it'll be open to the public during a concert).

More food options than the previous stadium but it's all basically stadium fare.

I have been wondering the same thing. I am taking the train so I have no ability to drive anywhere for food and my friends and I want to eat before the concert. I cannot find information about dining anywhere. The New Meadowlands Stadium website is terrible. I am hoping you get some responses!
