Chelsea Market and neighborhood recommendations

I am trying to collate what chowhounders really enjoy in/ around Chelsea Market. This is more for quick bites/ ice cream/ coffee/ things to carry home, rather than Del Posto type places.
Amy's Bread, the wine vault, Fat witch, the vegetable shop, the 9th Av coffee place, etc are some places that I have been to... still looking for the magic that people talk about. I really like the vibe of the place.
Thanks for contributing!

Lobster Place - fresh sushi, edamame, great soups, nice wraps, oysters, lobster rolls, salads, and more.

Dickson's Farmstand Meats - they do lunch

    Friedman's Deli

    L'Arte del Gelato

Jacques Torres chocolate inside Chelsea Market -- but really only for chocolates. Not a huge fan of their baked goods. Three Tarts Bakery on 9th Ave. And I third La Bergamote. My favorite croissants in Manhattan -- I find them better than Claude's and Petrossian.

La Bergamote for pastries and one of the best croissants in town. That's on 9th Ave and 20th, I think, southwest corner. The gelato place way in the back of Chelsea Market (by 10th Ave) is good, too.

            Hi Sid,
Some of my favorites include: Lucy's Whey, 9th St. Espresso, and Ronnybrook Dairy.
