Suggestions for 40th Birthday Girls' dinner in Santa Monica??
I will be heading to Santa Monica from the Bay Area with 7 to 10 girlfriends in June to celebrate a 40th birthday. Looking for a fun/cool -- and great food -- restaurant in Santa Monica or near it for a Saturday night. Price isn't an issue but do not want anything too stuffy.
I'm not too familiar w/ the area so any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Fig! Wonderful food and fun place located in the Fairmont Hotel. We went recently and it was way beyond my expectations.

It really is an uber cool place. Love those cabanas. Food is delicious. And they have my FAVORITE wine on their list that is sooooo hard to find in LA. Livio Felluga Pinot Grigio - just wonderful with his food.
