Tony Bulloni, on Bathurst above Steeles is fabulous. Never been disappointed
in the food and very reasonable for the quality.
7117 Bathurst Street - East Side ..watch for it in a strip plaza..apparently they
have one downtown as well.
Last was there a couple of weeks ago, had the special Angolotti with lobster- delicous!

The owner of Sapori (Yonge/Lawrence) is opening a place up at 400 and Rutherford called Autostrada. It's supposed to be opening in the next couple of months, so I don't know if that actually helps you right now, but thought I'd throw out a heads up.

I ran into Eduardo, Luigi's brother last Saturday. Autostrada is now open. Apparently it is pretty big - 200 seats. Looking forward to trying it out. BTW Eduardo has now bought Trio on Yonge with a partner from Luigi and is running that restaurant and Sapori has changed its name and a 50% interest has been sold to Gus, the long time hard worker.

My current favourite that is great in my eyes is Maestro Roberto's. NE corner of Weston Rd and Hwy 7 (in the strip plaza)
There is another place I can't remember the name in the plaza NW corner of Rutherford and Islington...same plaza at St Philips Bakery.

I've also enjoyed dining at Mastro Roberto, although it's been a couple years. The daily specials were quite interesting last time I was there. Not $$$, but nice enough atmosphere and tasty food.

They closed down. Way too expensive for very average food. They thought that parking a Ferrari outside would attract people willing to pay outrageous amounts of money for their food. Not!

Not surprised at all! Way way overprice, even more than Mistura - downtown!! Nice decor though!
