Quick help needed-best of the Indian restaurants in mid-Wilshire?
Knowing that this is best of a not particularly great cross-section of available Indian dining in LA (and acknowledging that Indian dining in LA leaves a lot to be desired to begin with) which of the many meh Indian restaurants in the mid Wilshire area, do Chowhounds recommend for a quick mother's day dinner tonight?

For future reference, this is more Beverly Center, but India's Grill at the intersection of San Vicente and La Cienega is quite good. When I lived in that neighborhood, it was my go-to Indian over places like India's Oven.

Thanks, guys! We went with Electric Karma--which was pleasant and fine. The food is a little lighter (no ghee) albeit not particularly authentic and lacking the wonderful complex flavors of great Indian food. But it was perfect for a low energy dinner in the neighborhood, and they discount 15% for KCRW membership.

This may get me labeled as hopelessly gringo (or whatever the Deshi equivalent of "gringo" is) but India's Oven (now "India's Clay Oven"?) on Beverly at La Brea has rarely disappointed me, going back to their days at Pico and Fairfax. Not startlingly exotic or innovative (I don't know that the menu's changed in a decade...) but I'm never UNhappy when I've eaten there...
