We really like Khams Thai Cuisine and eat there every time we pass through St. J.
Seriously good Thai food and a friendly staff. Try the steamed dumplings and crab Rangoon.

Elements is very nice (and quite upscale for St. J), but our favorite restaurant is still the River Garden Cafe in E. Burke. Everything about it strikes just right, whether dinner or weekend brunch. Terrific cocktails, totally delicious food, no attitude whatsoever.

A nice place in the summer is the Wildflower Inn, which has a gorgeous garden and very nice food (although possibly not as nice as the garden!).

Haven’t tried Elements, but heard good things (other than it ahs been for sale for over a year)

River Garden Café is excellent, been 3 times and everything was good, service can be spotty some nights, but overall they get an “A”.

Juniper’s at the Wildflower is also pretty decent, the food is good and the view is excellent.

The Tamarack Grill on Burke Mountain is an awesome place to see the sunset (as is Juniper’s) and they have surprisingly good food and good drinks, good beer selection as well.
