"Hunter gatherer" restaurant in Baltimore?

Can anyone help me with the name of a restaurant? I believe that it's in Baltimore, or possibly just east of Baltimore.

I read something about it maybe a year or a year and a half ago in a little magazine that I found at a sushi restaurant in Fells Point.

Apparently the chef of this restaurant gathers all of the ingredients. Eggs from birds nests. Fish if he can catch them. Mushrooms that he forages. Birds that he catches. Wild herbs. And so on... I think that his "signature" dish was pigeon.

I'd love to find out the name of the restaurant, if anyone else knows it. And if you have been there, and have any comments, I'd love to hear them too!

Thank you in advance!

    1. I don't think this place exists. Are you thinking of Woodberry Kitchen? The Farm to Table Theme? My advice to you is to email the people at the Baltimore Sun who report on restaurants, maybe they haave heard of it. Good luck!

2010 Clipper Park Rd # 126, Baltimore, MD

          1. Could the magazine have been Baltimore Eats? I think i remember an issue devoted to such a theme in early 2008

That could be it... we were at a sushi place, waiting for a table, and I picked up the magazine and saw the review as I was flipping through it. A friend wanted to know more... but then I couldn't remember the name, or find anything by Googling.

Unfortunately that article isn't online, and the company that owns the website sold off the printed version... so I don't really know how to track this down...
