Report option question

Somewhere I remember reading that there was a bug in the report option.

Was that
- a poster could use the report option once for an entire thread?
- or, for a reply to a thread, the report option could only be used once?

The reason I ask is that I opened a thread that was from a few years ago and someone added a spam to it. It was a long thread. I have no clue if I ever hit report on that thread over the years.

I forgot to save the link, but this comes up rather frequently and I always wonder about this for old posts.

Maybe the bug has been fixed?

The bug is that if a given post (not whole thread) has previously been reported and had the moderators take action on it, new feedback will not appear in our feedback queue.
