Sausalito, Cavallo Point Inquiry

We will be staying at Cavallo Point in Sausalito. I'm wondering about "Murray Circle" rest. on-site. Also, are there any good rest/bakeries/confectioners nearby? TIA!

My 'spousal unit' said someone mentioned a good breakfast spot in Sausalito, when I find out the name, I'll run it by y'all to see what you think.

Seems like the quality drastically varies there between lunch and dinner; I was extremely disappointed with my lunch there, as have a few others, but most reports of dinner there seem to be stellar

We just had lunch there this past wednesday and it was pretty good. I have not been for dinner. If you are a party of two you might be able to eat out on the deck out front.

Murray Circle is excellent --its got a Michelin Star. They have come a long way in the 2 years it has been open. A must do if you are staying on that property Have dinner there and walk across the hallway to the Farley Bar for after-dinner drinks. You can even take drinks outside on the deck or to a fire pit with close-up views of the Golden Gate Bridge. Its quite a stunning property without the attitude.

You cannot walk to anywhere (easily) from Cavallo Point. So look to SF for what else you wish to pursue. Easy cab ride to SF from Cavallo.

It's an easy mile and a half walk from Cavallo Point to the Sausalito ferry terminal, within a few blocks of which there are a number of good restaurants, including Poggio, Sushi Ran, and Horizons (great deck with bay view).
