What's good around Bloor & Spadina for lunch spots?

Hi folks, any recommendations for lunch spots in the area of Bloor and Spadina?

I recently tried Nataraj (again - ignored it for a few years as it went downhill). Had my best Indian meal this year. Will try again - but would appreciate a second opinion.

I will reserve Splendido for dinner. As a matter of fact I've yet to visit the new and improved.

Had the buffet lunch a month or so ago and it was decent. I think the relatively recent appearance of competition for the Indian restaurant food dollar in the general vicinity, i.e. Banjara, Madras Masala, Maroli and even the humble Everest across the street, may have woken them from their slumber.

I second l'espresso by bar mercurio (and pretty much all of Rabit's recommendations)
For an inexpensive casual lunch Aroma is nice for salads and sandwiches. It's at the corner of Albany and Bloor.

If you feel like a splurge, you could walk down to Harbord and have lunch at Splendido. :)
