Road trip from Buffalo to Pittsburg
Hi there, we're roadtripping all the way from Toronto, Ontario down to Pittsburg. According to the map, major routes are from I-90 south to I-79 I believe. I've done some searches both on here and google but haven't had much luck in finding good recs for great stops along the way.
As a canuck, we're looking for one of our stops to be true american diner experience or really, just a diner that serves some great grub! Any other recs along the way (towns to visit, restaurants) we're totally game for as well.
Any help would be appreciated!

Not a diner, but a couple miles off I-79 at Grove City (where there's also a big outlet mall) is the Iron Bridge Inn. Not inspired food, but I think it's great grub, solid steaks, full bar, etc. Don't skip dessert. http://www.springfields.com/ibi_files... This would be towards the end of your drive, about an hour north of downtown PIttsburgh. Entire drive should only take maybe 6 hours at most of driving time.
If you want something more midway you could look for recs for Erie. I can't help you there, though; don't think I've ever eaten in Erie.
