Sabor a Colombia Restaurant in Levittown

There were a couple of quite good reviews in the NY Times and Newsday,

so I gave it a try.

One visit only, but I'm pleased so far. The quarter rotisserie chicken was juicy and flavorful; without batting an eye, they offered to substituted plantains for the FF the dish normally comes with (I rarely get regular fries unless they're something special).

Even better, there were so many tempting things on the menu, it demanded a return trip.

  1. Went back last night and had the paella. Two observations:
    1) the paella was very good, with quite a mix of different things: the yellow rice plus shrimp, scallops, clams, calamari, mussels, octopus, sausage, grilled beef, and wonderfully juicy rotisserie chicken.
    2) my god, there was a lot. I mean, "Man vs. Food" a lot. It's like no matter how much I ate, the quantity didn't lessen. Not only did I bring part home, but it's going to constitute two more dinners. They DID warn me, though.
