Not too loud please

Lately many of the new places that we have tried have had good food, but the noise level forces us to yell if we are out with friends and want to talk to them. So...looking for a place with good food, not too noisy. Would anything on Harbord fit the bill? Any help much appreciated.

Splendio is more on the quiet side of the scale for sure.

Exactly, good inexpensive restaurants are going to be loud. As many seats as possible have to be in the dining room and if the restaurant is good, people will flock. There is only so much one can do to improve acoustics. Therefore if you want quiet, you pay for it. On Harbord, Splendio is your best option.

DT Bistro is very quiet and relaxed.
