Asian fish store in OC
Is there a asian store that specifically concentrates on selling seafood, like an asian Santa Monica Seafood, in Little Saigon or in Orange County? I'm not talking about 99 or Mitsuwa, which sell all types of seafood but also sell a whole bunch of other stuff too.
I thought I recalled reading about such a store in the LATimes a few years ago, but I can't seem to find that article on their website.

There is. I forget the name of the place, but it's a Vietnmese owned place in the strip mall on the northeast corner of Brookhurst & Westminster in Garden Grove. They make zero effort to pretty up the place like Santa Monica Seafood does, so expect a cold, tile lined, fluorescent lighted, morgue-like environment. They do wholesale and retail sales there. I don't recall any uber-fresh, sashimi grade anything there, so if you want that, you're better off at Marukai or Mitsuwa. I also recall a lot of freshwater species that are common in SE Asia. No surprise in this neighborhood.
I haven't been in YEARS, so it's old data, but please report back if you check it out. While you're in that strip mall, check out the Banh Mi Che Cali mothership.
There's also Artist Crawfish Company, also in GG. They supply many of the Cajun style bug boil shops in the area, as well as their own restaurant of the same name in Westminster. They also sell crawfish to the public

re: Professor Salt
I should add Pearson's Port in Newport Beach, which is a floating dock on Back Bay and keeps local crabs and lobster in live tanks. Some of the seafood is local (white seabass, spiny lobsters, etc) some flown in (salmon, East coast clams, and so on).
Not Asian, though. Is there a particular reason why you're looking for Asian markets?

re: Professor Salt
It's called Dong Loi Seafood (I'm probably a bit off on the spelling). And Professor Salt is spot on with the location description. 22 freeway, exit Brookhurst and drive towards Little Saigon. It's right next to the Bank Of America, and located in the same strip as the Burger King on the corner.
