Mexican in South Bay

I am new to the area and live in Sunnyvale. My husband and I wanted to try Mexican food tonight. Could you please provide me recs for a inexpensive to moderately priced Mexican place in or around Sunnyvale. We are willing to drive about 20 minutes. We have heard about La Fiesta and Fiesta Del Mar but wanted to know if there are any others you might recommend.

Just down highway 237 and hidden in Alviso is a place called Rosita's. The decor is nothing fancy, but it's some of the best and most authentic mexican food you'll find locally. Another chowhound review here - http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/307173

We finally ended up going to La Fiesta. Got there at about 8pm and it was packed. We were seated at about 8:45.

Had the lime margarita to drink- nothing special. Have had better margaritas.

The complimentary chips were good. Out of three salsas(green, orange and red) I liked the orange one the best. The green had no real taste and the red one had a little too much vinegar (I think).

I had the chicken mole enchilada and my husband had the chipotle chicken. The mole was a little sweet for my taste but the dish was good. The chipotle chicken had a nice smoky taste to it. My husband liked it. The portion sizes were huge as well.

Service, even though they were busy, was good.

The total for one drink and two entrees without tax and tip was $35.65.

Glad you enjoyed La Fiesta. My favorite in the area is Estrellita in Los Altos. The best things there are the specials and the chicken Oaxaca.

There's El Burro in the Pruneyard Mall in Campbell. It's pretty okay...Cal-Mex. Been around forever. I like La Fiesta but EB isn't bad.

In the same family of restaurants, I like Vive Sol in Mountain View.
