Brunch Suggestion for group of 6 or 7

Planning a reunion of elementary school chums (# of years not important, but it's not a small number!) for a Sunday brunch in May. Expect to be between 6 and 8 people. We're looking for a place that takes reservations, is comfortable (and not too noisy).

Would like to stay below 42nd Street, since midtown and above is likely to be overrun by a large parade.

Suggestions? Thanks!

First off, I hope you're not planning to book on Mother's Day!

For quiet brunch for a large group, I would book:
    Locanda Verde
Freemans (if you can get the private room)
Jane (if you can get the private room downstairs)
Five Points (space for larger parties is in back -- there's a tables and a booth)
Blue Ribbon Bakery (they can seat bigger groups downstairs but it really depends where they seat you re: noise levels)
    Perry Street
Public (maybe if you can get the semi private long table?)

    -----
    Five Points
31 Great Jones St, New York, NY 10012

    Perry Street
176 Perry Street, New York, NY 10014

    Blue Ribbon Bakery
33 Bedford St, New York, NY 10014

    Locanda Verde
377 Greenwich St, New York, NY 10013

The usual places that take reservations: Cookshop, Jane

I love Cookshhop for brunch, but I find it very noisy. The OP asked for something "not too noisy." Just my two cents.
