So? Did anyone make it to Guru? Unfortunately I haven't been able to eat out much at all this month.

Yes, my wife and I went toward the beginning of the month and quite frankly I cannot remember a lot of the details.
I will have to remember to post and save on my own computer a review and re-send it at month's end the next time.
We went toward the end of lunch hour on a week-end or a day I had off from work. We were the the 2nd or 3rd or 4th table. It was comfortable and I enjoy the dark wood feel.
We shared the vegetable samosa started and particularly enjoyed the tamarind sauce that accompanies it along with a mint one.
I had the lamb curry and my wife the chicken. The actual names and regions you can see from the web-site noted in anonymoose's May 4 post above. Both were good. They were accompanied by excellent naan bread and "anglicized" veggies and starch. By that I mean veggies that someone like me would not generally expect. Brussel sprouts, etc.
Once again [I had been there by myself one time some months ago for another lunch] the chef came out and checked on things. He seems like a very nice person. I hope they do well but have not been very busy when I was there and again, I am going at lunch time rather than dinner.
They may be in a tough location with the New Asian Village a block away and a Darwaat [sp?] in Mayfield Village.
The time I went previously [posted somewhere on this site] I had the lamb popsicles and the tandoori chicken. Both were good.
I would probably go more often were it not for the fact that my wife generally does not have a hankering for Indian food and as a result, we usually end up in Cactus Club or Earl's or the like.

Bob, maybe you should post once you go instead of waiting. I'm sure that anyone who doesn't want to be influenced by your review will be careful not to read it. Better that then for you to lose your impressions of the place!
