One Dinner Slot Left

Traveling with my beautiful wife to NOLA this weekend. We are first time visitors but are both big foodies. I have made dinner reservations for most nights but am conflicted about the last evening. Please help with a suggestion. So far we are booked at:

Brigtsen's for dinner

Commander"s for Sunday Brunch

Bayona for dinner

August for dinner

Cochon and Luke for lunch

We are considering Coquette, Emeril's, and Herbsaint but are open to a place we may be overlooking. Suggestions?

  1. All good options. Coquette has a limited menu (about 4 appetizer options, 4 or 5 entrees). It changes every day or so. Emeril's is consistently excellent, both food and service. Herbsaint can be excellent but consistency wise, it's a crap shoot.

Just got back from NOLA, ate at Coquette, Herbsaint, and Emerils (among others), and that's the order I'd rank them as well. Report to follow soon. Coquette is amazing; very young staff (the owners, chef, FOH, etc are all under 30) but the upstairs room is gorgeous and the food was the best of this trip to NOLA.

    2. Swap Emeril's for Delmonico.

      1. All very good, but like Niki in Dayton, my first choice would be Coquette, second, Herbsaint, and third, Emeril's.

        1. I'd like to recommend Bon Ton It was truly one of the best meals I've had in a long time. We were there for Jazz Fest, and also went to Bayona for lunch (great), and commanders for Brunch (Awesone) and Cochon for Dinner (very good)

          1. I think you should tri MiLa in the CBD. Local ingredients, lovingly prepared and delicious.
