Cafe Grumpy's $12 cup of coffee

Cafe Grumpy introduced a $12 cup of coffee to its menu today. It's supposed to be a pretty intense brew -- or as someone said in today's Post story, "It's a cacophony of nuances."

Much like with the Black Label burger, I think I want to try it just to try it, just so I can say I spent $12 on a cup of coffee. Plus, I'm a a huge Grumpy fan, so I have to admit I'm curious how this tastes.

Any of you guys try it yet?

They're called "Nekisse" beans from Ethiopia. I'm not enough of a coffee connoisseur (i.e. nerd) to know why that's a good thing, but I have a feeling disappointment is inevitable. You pay that much for anything -- coffee, wine, steak, Allan Houston -- you're gonna expect the world.
