Group Dining Suggestions
During the first week of June, I am planning a reunion dinner for some old college friends. We will have approximately 18 people in attendance. Would anyone recommend a restaurant that could comfortably accomodate that size of a group? I am thinking we may require a private room.
Also, we are attending an event near the Boston Convention Center later in the evening, so a restaurant located nearby would be a plus; however, we are willing to travel father afield for better options.

Is the event at the Hynes Convention Center in downtown Boston or the Seaport Center?
Also would be helpful to know a bit more about what you're looking for in terms of price range and type of food. For instance I've had several good corporate-sponsored meals at Davio's in Park Square (Italian steak house) and they have a private dining room - but it might be too pricey or not what you want to eat - and would be reasonably convenient to Hynes, but not to the Seaport Center.

Thank you for the reply. The event is near the Seaport Center.
Someone suggested Davio's. it looks like it would be $70 per person to book their private room. I think that is about the max the group would be willing to pay, and, ideally, we would like something slightly less expensive.
