Craving BAKED ALASKA; Where can I find it?

Specifically, seeing a show on West 42nd Street May 23rd, looking for a place to have dinner afterwards, max. $40 a person, with/without drinks/dessert AND I want Baked Alaska for my dessert!

Anybody know where one MIGHT have it then?

TIA!

You can use the Find-a-Food feature on menupages. In addition to the other places mentioned here, Giorgio's of Gramercy apparently has it, as does Swifty's. I doubt any of those places will keep you under your target though.

Note: A lot of places don't really elaborate their dessert menu on menupages, so there may be many other places that serve it but don't have it listed.

And menu's frequently change in NYC, so that's why I posted the message, asking everybody to help me out! I live in Frenchtown, NJ.

Actually, you can find it at Saul's on Court street but you will have to "venture" into Brooklyn. The food overall is fabulous and the baked Alaska very good.

Baked Alaska seems to be all the rage on this board lately and as luck would have it we just had it at Delmonico's last week. They claim to have originated it (or be the first to serve it in America). It's quite far from the theater district and expensive though but worth it!

Did you post anything about Delmonico's? I've been considering spending the dough to see the place. Thanks!

Sardi's seems like your best bet.
