Need a spot between JFK and Jones Beach, staying on so shore of LI

Looking for a restaurant in/around Jones Beach area, belmont, etc.
Meeting a friend for lunch, want to be able to eat, sit, talk. On water pref.
Between JFK and Jones Beach. THANKYOU.

      Allegra Hotel in Long Beach has restaurant on the water, very upscale setting, you'll like it
