CO - Favorite Restaurants in Bonnie Brae/Wash Park/Cherry Creek
We are moving from the burbs to the city (thank god!) and really want some good, local, non chain TASTY restaurants to try - all types/price points, please. Thanks so much!!!
Turns out my SO loves this place but we never go b/c I'm a lush and I think there's no liquor, right? I need to get there for lunch....
Heyteacher, you know Denver's scene well enough to know that Cherry Creek is full of places both good & bad, fairly priced & not: the better choices IMO include Argyll, Second Home (for the ambiance especially), Rodney's (ditto, though completely different), Elway's (for the people watching especially), Zaidy's...haven't been to Ondo's yet, keep meaning to. Not a fan of Hapa Sushi, North for some reason gives me the willies, which may be unfair...
Wash Park should have better options than it does. Some of the food at Wash Park Grille isn't bad but the bar needs to step it up in the craft cocktail era. I prefer Fontana Sushi to Hapa, but of course you're also near Old S. Pearl with tons of options: all the Dens, India's Pearl, Park Burger, Wine Cellar, Lincoln's Road House, Pajama Baking Co., Gaia, Seven Cups, etc. etc...
