Cinco de Mayo in Mercer County, NJ

Hi! I'm looking for a nice Mexican Restaurant in Mercer County to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. I play on going the day before so basically just looking for great Mexican food that would be good for a group. Something that isn't too over the top or expensive would be helpful

Thank you in advance!

  1. Seems so hard to find good Mexican around here. Not Mercer County, but I will be having my Cinco De Mayo lunch at El Sombrero just outside the gates of McGuire Air Force Base in lovely Wrightstown. Not 100% authentic, but pretty darn close for this area. -mJ

    1. I realize you're planning to go, well, yesterday, but just in case. Olives in Princeton is having Cinco de Mayo dishes today. My sitter's husband, a great cook, is doing many of the dishes, so they should be pretty tasty. You do have to take out, since it's just like a deli, so, clearly, no table service, but it might be worth a try. We're going in 30 min, so I'll try to report back.
