Tacolicious on Chestnut in SF
I'm curious to know if anyone has been to Tacolicious yet, the new taco restaurant on Chestnut next to Wells Fargo. Are the tacos small or do they use a regular tortilla? I'm intrigued and am debating trying it out tomorrow if a walk-in at A16 doesn't work out.

IT's delicious. I'd say their tacos aren't big but they aren't small. I probaly can eat 2-3 and I'm not a huge eater. But prices are reasonable (for the Marina). You can get 10 tacos for $29. The tacos are flavorful - Recommend the braised short ribs, carnitas, the fish... although they are all good as someone mentioned before. You'll have to come back & try it.

When it started the stand at Ferry Plaza's Thursday market, the word was that the tortillas came from La Palma. They were the larger size, not small ones. La Palma's not listed as a purveyor on the restaurant's page for that and a site search turned up no mention either.

Thanks. Doesn't sound too promising but I wonder if it's better now that they are in a restaurant. Alas my friend has decided that Tacolicious will be too crowded tomorrow since it will be a sunny day. I'll have to try it another day.
