Orlando - any good BBQ joints?

I have yet to make it to 4 Rivers because it is always packed when ever I drive by. Which is a pretty good testament to how good it is supposed to be. All the reviews I've read of it have been raves.

I have been to Blackwater and Cecil's and like them both a lot. They are south of downtown; both of them are off of South Orange Avenue.

Agreed. 4 Rivers is easily the best in Orlando, and probably the best barbecue I've had from Miami to San Diego.

4 Rivers is Texas BBQ right? Do they have pork ribs or only beef.

I cannot abide Texas BBQ being called the best anything ... :)

4 Rivers has delicious pork ribs, but no beef ribs. I love both kinds, but beef ribs are extremely hard to find in Orlando (and in Florida barbecue places in general). The beef brisket there is the best I've ever had, though.

Depends a great deal on whether you mean spare ribs or baby backs. Bubbalous' aren't bad. Blackwater's are good. Good spare ribs are hard to find unless you run across a good mom and pop place. There's a little Shack of a place on Geneva Road in Oviedo that serves excellent ribs.

If you mean C&W - it unfortunately burned down and is now closed. Too bad, it was a unique, one-of-a-kind place! THeir BBQ sauce was kinda odd, though...
