Looking for GREAT Casual Dinner - Foxboro/Norwood MA Area

Have cause to be in the Foxboro area for one night on business and was looking for a great (food 1st/experience 2nd) casual dinner recommendation.

Have seen mixed reviews on the likes of "Stone Forge" and Louie's" at the Patriot Center.

Not sure about client's tastes so thinking American fare as a safe bet.

Would appreciate any recommendations.

Thanks

For food, I'd recommend Bon Caldo, on Rte 1 in Norwood. It's actually very good, reasonably priced, and has a nice atmosphere. It's business casual.

For more casual, and a little less expensive, you'd be better off at Tavolino, in Patriot's place, than eitther of the places you mentioned. Good pizza, pretty good other foods, very good desserts.

Norwood has Abbondonza II (casual Italian) & Bistro 612, both on Wash. St., and even Bistro One in the Sheraton on Rt. 1 is ok. Head over to Dedham and Aquitaine in Legacy Place or Halftime Cafe or Isabella's are all good eatin'.

A throwback restaurant: The Red Wing on Route 1 in Foxboro. Great fried clams. I've heard good bar pizza as well.

Sky in Norwood is really good - we enjoyed a good dinner there the other night.

Has the ownership at Sky changed? We went last night and at 7:00pm the parking lot was deserted. The food quality was definitely lacking. We started out with the carpaccio, a mistake, what we got was a frozen meat wafer. A unique concept, but not what carpaccio should be. The prime rib, just a fatty hunk of beef, no real flavor. The sirloin, just tough, even though it was medium rare. The baked potatos were cooked sometime in the past week. Sky used to be fairly decent so i'm not sure what happened here.

I live in Norwood and often have client's in town as well. If you are going to be more toward the Foxboro side of Route 1 I would recommend sitting in the bar area of Davio's at Patriot place, they have some nice home made pastas and a pretty good Grass fed Burger. If you are more toward the Norwood/Dedham side of Route 1 then I would go to Aquitaine in the new Legacy place or isabella's in downtown Dedham.

Incontro in Franklin. The last time I was there I noticed a number of business dinners taking place. The food is good and it isn't too formal.
