Edendale Grill brunch - kid friendly?

Hello all,

I have reservations for 5 at the Edendale Grill for Mother's Day brunch. Even though it's only about 2 miles from my house, I've never been.

Three of our party are children (7 and under). Is Edendale an acceptable choice for kids? I've searched around and found nothing definitive.

If Edendale is NOT a good spot, any suggestions in Atwater/Silverlake/Los Feliz/Glendale area for Mother's Day brunch with three kids?

Many thanks!

Normally I'd say no, as Edendale is our calm, adult, drinking-on-the-patio in peace place, and the idea of kids at a place that devotes at least half of it's seating to cocktails does not seem congruent.
But, that said, it's Mother's Day! At brunch! All normal rules do not apply. I imagine that 3 (surely well behaved) children would be more than accepted.

While the patio setting is quite nice, be it for mother's day or any other weekend day, beware the place is in escrow, and is being sold and thus attention to the details may be in limbo.
