where to buy bird's eye chili?

Can't seem to find bird's eye chili. I've seen green chile, or large red chile, but I'm looking for bird's eye chile. Anyone know where to find it?

Thanks!

Just picked up some at Russo's today. They had both green and red ones.

Shalimar Indian Market in Central Square. Also packaged, but they are much smaller packages than Market Basket, and I really enjoy their flavor.

Are you guys talking about fresh bird eye Chilies? or dried ones? I'm looking for fresh ones that you can chop up for a vinagrette. Whole Food doesn't have them.

Market Basket. Only bummer is you have to buy a LOT ... they prepackage in quantities I can't imagine going thru in a year. Good news is you can freeze em.

Yes, you do have to buy a lot, but the package I bought on Saturday (around 4 ounces) only cost $1.70. I don't think that's going to break anyone's bank.

Right on. But if you are someone who can't bear to throw food away, it's nice to know you can store them, regardless of the price.

They freeze well and also keep well in vinegar..or pickle juice.

CMart in Chinatown usually has them.

Too early, but if you're going to use them often and have the space, they're pretty easy to grow.
