good but mid priced meals in Newport RI

We'll be in Newport the first weekend of May and will want good breakfast, steaks and seafood that won't break the bank; looking for fun places, and also possibly fun jazz clubs.

Salvation Cafe is my favorite dinner spot....

Breakfast...used to go to the 4th St. Diner when my dad was stationed there...not sure if it's still good, heard it switched hands.

Seafood....instead of dinner...go for late afternoon chowder & oysters @ the Mooring (on the water)....and their bread pudding is fantastic!

Brick Alley Pub is very popular as well...

Dinner/Lunch or Brunch - Perro Salado or Zelda's (there are plenty of others, I always think that too many options are as useless as none!)

Seafood Dinner - scene would be Flo's - good food is at Anthony's Seafood in Middletown

Breakfast - Atlantic Grill in Middletown, Corner Cafe or Franklin Spa

The only music club in Newport is Newport Blues Cafe - check the schedule online.
