Indian-Mexican fusion - butter chicken burritos!

Something a little different - across the street from Mountain Equipment Coop on Broadway is "Best Burrito". The name makes a bold claim but while they serve decent conventional mexican food, they also have something quite unique - a butter chicken burrito. Owners are Pakistani and the food is halal. They have 5 levels of custom hot sauces. Get a Chai tea with your food and the (con)fusion sets in.

That makes sense for this city. It is sort of like our version of LA's Korean tacos, I guess (eg the now famous Kogi food truck). I can imagine other variants - lamb curry, paneer, chickpea, etc.

I don't know how many times I've gone past their sign and felt compelled to try out their "best burrito". Thanks for the heads-up.
