Breakfast somewhere near Middletown, CT?

Can anyone recommend a good place for breakfast within 20 miles of Middletown, Connecticut? Quality of food is more important than atmosphere. Party of five. We're looking for breakfast, not brunch (9 am-ish).

thanks!

Pepper Pot on Center Street in Southington, the omelets are huge and keep your tank full all day long. Great breakfast specials.

Rick's On 5 in Wallingford is a small hole-in-the-wall place with outstanding breakfasts.

Both places have lines of customers on weekends. Worth the wait.

Cromwell Diner is right off exit 24 on I-91. They make their own Corned Beef Hash.

O'Rourke's is indeed THE place to go in town, the food is terrific, but it's small and be prepared to wait for at least 20-30 minutes. And from what I remember, I'm not sure all five of you could fit at one table unless one were a small child -- they have booths that fit four.

They have larger booths at O'Rourke's, too--in either corner opposite the front doorway.

O'rourke's diner is right in the North End of Middletown, on Main Street right off of Route 9. The food is fabulous.
