I second Azuri Cafe! In Brooklyn, the best Burekas I've ever had are from Miriam.

Djerdan Burek is really good. the one on 38th street has some ambiance, esp compared to the Astoria location. http://www.djerdan.com/

Thanks for the name. I've been sitting here thinking I need to respond to this because the ones I had at a little place on 9th Ave were so good. But for the life of me I couldn't recall the name of the place!

            So I second Gazala's. :)

Azuri Cafe makes an awesome boreka. It's a tiny place with huge flavor and freshness. Don't let the mean owner get ya down, it's part of the fun
