Connectedness Through Our Choices
Have you ever stopped to ponder that recipes are like wines?
No matter how long you live or how huge your coffer it is not possible to sample every outstanding wine even if you were to limit the wine regions. Similarly, there is no way to taste every favourite food choice preparation no matter how long or often you eat a specific food.
There is always an innovative, new twist springing forth from the mind of someone whose cooking reflects part of their unique life experience.
This then makes eating a boundless, exciting adventure where we are truly all connected in that we all must eat to sustain our beings and all of us enjoy experiencing wonderful tastes, smells and presentation.
If you are choosing to fuel your body with foods that are rich in goodness and recipes that enhance natural flavours then this in combination with other "healthy" life style choices will indeed help to keep us aging "well" .
Think about the Market you purchase your groceries from. Are the goods local, freshly picked, or pesticide free? Is the meat or poultry from sustainable farming areas? Are they hormone and/or antibiotic free?
Has the produce travelled across the globe to be stored in coolers ? Often, by the time it lands out on the produce aisles it has lost it's nutritional value all together?
All valuable question if you are choosing to make the best possible choices to receive the best bang for your buck (and body).
