Moving to Sunset Park
I'm moving to Sunset Park this weekend (after many years in Park Slope) and need some recs for my new neighborhood. I go to Tacos Matamoros pretty often, but haven't explored much outside of there. I'm open to all cuisines.
Already on my list to try:
Ba Xuyen
Tacos el Bronco
Thanh Da II
Mai Thai
Pride of #8
Pacificana
Metro Cafe
Redang Island
Casa Vieja
Prosperity Dumpling
Yunnan Flavor Snack
Lanzhou Hand Pulled
Where else should I go? Thanks!

I prefer Nyonya to Redang Island. I don't know el Bronco, but Matamoros has the best al pastor. If you don't want to deal with the crowds for dim sum at Pacificana, 8th Avenue Seafood Restaurant (about a block or two north of Ba Xuyen) is much easier to get into, less glitzy, and I think at least as good. I think Lucky 8 is the best Cantonese dinner spot. I didn't like Mai Thai too much. Thanh Da is good for bun bo Hue and bun rieu cua, which the other Vietnamese places don't carry. Pho Thanh Hoai III for other Vietnamese dishes.
