Hi --

I have about 35 people for a Saturday night dinner. Looking for inexpensive fare, American preferrably, burgers, pizza, or something easy to split up the bill. We will be coming from Berwyn, Darien, St. Charles, Elk Grove and Glendale Heights. Looking for something central for all and hopefully with a private dining room. Any suggestions?

    Hmmm.
Possibly Buca Di Beppo in Lombard? Italian. Decent. Pretty Cheap. Huge portions. Big place. I'd assume you'd have a section of the place to yourself - the space is divided up into several diff rooms.

There's also a Giordano's in Lombard or Oak Brook. Not sure if there's a private room, however. I'd look at their locations on a map, and pick the ones that seem central, call and ask if they can accomodate you.

Did you ping the family members yet? Maybe they know of a more neighborhoody joint that will be more central.

Thanks for your help! It was decided to not go so central and go with White Fence Farm in Bolingbrook, I think. I haven't been there in years, but I'm sure the kids will enjoy it! Thanks again
