  1. I think Bilbao is a great tapas restaurant. It might not be up on the same level as the Harvest Vine, but you aren't paying HV prices either. I would definitely recommend checking it out.

second the opinion. really nice tapas and great hosts. might go tonight.
wouldn't vcall the neighborhood u-dist. though. more like wedgwood-ne 55th and 35th ave ne.

Bighound, you're thinking of Gaudi up on 55th. (Dali? no... Gaudi, i think...)

Bilbao is the one next to the Metro just off 45th.

holy $^%&* i am! can't believe i did that. have been to Bilbao and while it was pretty good Gaudi was significantly better. i goota pay better attention.

    2. Went once. Nice folks, pretty good food, kinda weird room (I'm thinking faux shuttered windows, if you know what I mean) in an unpleasant location. Suffice it to say I had forgotten I'd ever eaten there until seeing your post, but might go back now that you mentioned it. I thought it was a little overpriced, but that seems to be true of almost everywhere in Seattle compared to bigger cities.
