Does this have a name?

Hello I've been making a cocktail for a while. I dubbed it the Sophist. Here's what it contains

1 oz vodka

1 oz St Germain Elder flower Liqueur

2 oz Grapefruit juice

2 oz. Club soda.

It's very good. But I think I stole it from some other source. Not sure where though....

It sounds like a recipe from the card that comes with St Germain. St Germain and grapefruit go fantastically together. Here is a cocktail I invented as a riff on the Hemingway Daiquiri, named after my town as it is one of my house drinks:

    Bayside
2 oz gin (Seagram's Extra Dry works well)
    1/2 oz St Germain
    juice one half grapefruit
    juice one half lime
    2 dashes Peychaud's bitters
2 dashes orange or peach bitters
Shake with ice and strain into cocktail glass.

Your Bayside sounds good, although the 'juice one half grapefruit' seems implausible. The grapefruits I get yield about 8 oz of juice. That would put the total volume of the drink at close to 8 oz before ice melt. Unless your cocktail glasses double as canning jars. :)

I would think 1 oz of grapefruit would be about right, no?
