Sushi resto for bday (+10)

  • 6

Alright...well I know that I had previously made a thread about sushi restos...still got the list to go to when I get the chance. I was just wondering if someone could recommend a sushi resto that for sure can accomodate a little party for maybe 10+ people since my bf's birthday is the end of May.

We liked Ginza but I'm not 100% sure if they would be able to accomodate a larger group since the restaurant itself was pretty small.

Thanks!

  1. I like shodan on metcalfe and they have small private rooms that can accomodate 10 persons, which i find perfect for parties like that

    1. You may want to check out mikado on laurier -they have nice semi-private rooms that can be closed off. and there are lots of post-supper drink places nearby for continued merriment...

      1. Jun-I on Laurier serves amazing sushi - high quality, expertly cut fish, beautifully plated - with good service and a classy dining room (but on the expensive side). They accept reservations so they should accomodate a group of 10+. I've been there with groups that size before.

        1. For what it's worth, the suggestions above are pretty good. However, I know 100% Ginza (the one on St. Denis right?) accepts groups of 10+. I've organized and held dinners there that went upwards to 40 and everything ran smoothly. (No missed orders, food was just as good, etc.)

ooh nice to know that Ginza would be able accomodate :)
Obviously I think it would be nice with the private rooms but I have a feeling those ones will be a bit more pricey...

          2. I recommend the restaurant Tokyo, corner of Ste Catherine and St Matthew. Its all you can eat for 25$ per person. The food is great, the service is respectable and there are over 110 items on the menu!!
